About me
I passionately build creative, accessible and stylish websites using the latest web standards. My one man effort of a company was born in the early 2000's, but only became officially established in 2004, going on to make websites and graphic designs for bands, voluntary groups, up and coming businesses, schools, online University's and local people. The reason my customers choose me is because what you see is what you get. I do not cut corners and leave things unfinished. I keep to a high standard and on budget. The name
inLip Designs - which looks like a nickname, is in fact a...nickname. As creative as I am at times, I wanted a name to be random, one that reflects my style of design. So i went for random, catchy, simple, and something right off the top of my head. inLip Since then, it stuck.
The idea
I have always enjoyed designing, especially back when I was young and I had a copy of 'Deluxe Paint' on the Amiga. Since then, I have become more and more interested in designing, and after leaving college I got my first job as a web designer. I thought that being an in house web designer was what I wanted, but after 16 months, I realized it wasn't for me. I still wanted to design, but I wanted to be my own boss.
The skills
Armed with CSS know how, and extensive knowledge of the various design software, I set up my own business. Since working in house, I picked up numerous other skills which I depend on, on a day to day basis now that I am a sole trader. I pride myself on being a full service web design company which means I can offer pretty much anything you need. Still, Its good to specialize in certain areas, so check out the services page for more
